As Regional Security Director, Americas for International SOS and Control Risks, Matthew is responsible for travel security assistance and assessments for all countries in the Western Hemisphere. Prior to joining International SOS, he was the Security Director for the largest mobile service provider in Honduras. Matthew spent 14 years with the CIA with overseas postings in Chile, Argentina and ultimately as Chief of Station Honduras. Matthew has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish literature from Rice University, Houston, Texas. Matthew also studied Spanish and Latin American history at the University of Chile in Santiago and has travelled extensively throughout Latin America.
